This policy explains what personal information the CROpath.ai website handles, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short because the site collects very little: there are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics and no advertising trackers.

2. Information we collect
When you browse the site. The site itself does not ask for, store or track any personal information, and it does not set its own cookies. As with any website, the server that delivers the pages receives technical data from your browser — your IP address, browser type and the time of the request — and may keep it briefly in access logs for security and to keep the site running.
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry.
3. Third-party services
Some parts of the site are delivered by other companies. When your browser loads them, those companies receive your IP address and standard browser information, and handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used on the site.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr — deliver the JavaScript libraries behind the animations and the interactive globe.
- Google Maps — the map on the Contact page is embedded from Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
Links to LinkedIn and to the CROpath Digital Pathology Marketplace take you to other websites. Nothing is shared with them unless you follow the link, and once you do, their privacy policies apply.
4. How and why we use information
We use the limited information above to deliver and secure the website and to answer your messages. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site and responding to enquiries, or taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for automated decision-making.
5. How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and then deleted unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Server logs are kept only for a short period.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. Residents of California have the right to know what we collect and to request its deletion; we do not sell or share personal information. To use any of these rights, email contact@cropath.ai. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This website is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
